Hello!

We have a problem with our anatase TiO2 sol gel (waterbased and has 0,1% TiO2 and 0,01% Ag+ in it).

Stainless steel (AN 304) is spray coated with our sol gel and dry in room temperature (dry coating thickness 400-600nm).

Problem:
Our coating is not antibacterial on stainless steel??? It works on aluzink, wood and other materials!

Can you help me - why does it not work on stainless steel?

With best regards

Hi,
A bit late.
Do you do any annealing or some treatment.
Possibly it might be amorphous.
Checking the phase will help i guess
