Hi,
Im working on TiO2 based gas sesnors.
For the same am planning to check the effet of UV light on the gas sensing properties in addition  to temp variation.
Has anyone worked on this area or can give inputs for the same?
Hope to get inputs.

Mehul.

Hi,

I have checked IV for TiO2 thin film under UV, visble and dark. It has some different. But not as obvious as ZnO. ZnO has better differenciate than TiO2. What kind of gas sensor will u focus on?

Thats interesting Nano, regarding the V-I plots that you have got for diff conditions.
Also what was the wavelength of the UV light?
I had bought UVLEDS & then found that the wavelength is 395 nm!, while for Tio2 we need less than 385nm....Approve
& also how did you illuminate the films?
Im planning for alcohols & hydrocarbons.
Also whats the correct way of  subjecting the films to diff conditions?cause after UV illumination the photocatalytic properties remains for a long time....doesnt it...
